But many people want to take that next step — to learn how to do it for themselves. As you probably already know, Live Traders has a full seminar program with everything you need to succeed. It’s truly one of the best out there.
Still, you might be wondering: Is all that training really necessary? How much time will it take? Are there other options?
Let me break it down for you:
1️⃣ First and most important:
People love to hear, “All it takes is one afternoon and I can teach you how to make a fortune and trade for life.”
But let’s be real — that’s not how this works.
Sadly, human nature makes many fall for promises like that.
2️⃣ How long does it take?
It depends on your schedule — whether you’re part-time or full-time — and how quickly you learn.
Live Traders Seminar Program members receive a structured 100-day schedule, and most are trading with meaningful risk by the end of that timeframe.
3️⃣ What kind of experience do you need?
None. In fact, no experience is often better.
Some students are brand new to the markets, others have dabbled, and some have tried for years without success — and finally realize they need real education.
4️⃣ What about formal education or intelligence?
You don’t need any academic background.
Trading isn’t harder than what a 5th grader learns in school. It just takes a willingness to learn and commit.
5️⃣ Ditch the Holy Grail mindset.
There is no magic software or indicator that will make you rich. If there were, I’d be using it — and I’d gladly pay for it.
You only need common sense to know: there’s no shortcut to learning how to read a chart.
6️⃣ Learn to read a chart like a new language.
That’s your goal. It’s timeless.
You’ll build your strategies from that foundation — not chase after “new strategies for 2026” or other gimmicks. There is no magic strategy.
7️⃣ So where do you go to get a proper education?
Let’s forget Live Traders for a second.
If you want to succeed, you need real, high-quality education. Without it, you’ll struggle. A “C+” level understanding will bleed you dry, and watching a few YouTube videos won’t get you past a “D-”.
Avoid large companies that just want to string you along from one seminar to the next. Most of them don’t even practice what they teach.
If Live Traders isn’t your thing, then find a successful trader, latch on to them, and pay them whatever they ask. You need real mentorship, structured material, repetition, and guidance.
If you do like Live Traders, here’s what I’ll say:
Trading isn’t complicated. It’s like learning a new language. Kids learn languages all the time.
Yes, it takes effort, but it’s absolutely learnable — and it’s worth it.
I’ve sometimes made trading sound harder than it is — not on purpose, but as a reaction to all the scams out there promising fast riches from a single video or secret strategy.
At the end of the day, I do what I teach and I teach what I do.
Every single day, I prove that.
