Let’s face it, most people choose the latter. But why? Is it because they want to fail? Absolutely not. It’s because they were never taught that success is meant to be enjoyed and built upon. Instead, they were conditioned to believe that success is fleeting and that they must constantly be on guard, looking over their shoulder for the next person who might take their spot.
But here’s the truth: success is not a limited resource. There is enough to go around for everyone. And when you start to succeed, you have every right to bask in the glory of your achievements and use them as a launching pad to reach even greater heights. Don’t let fear and self-doubt hold you back. Don’t let the past mistakes and failures dictate your future. Instead, embrace your success, learn from your mistakes, and use them to propel yourself forward.
This is a lesson I learned this lesson the hard way. The sabotaging of my early trading days probably cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. But I didn’t let that define me. I chose to learn from my mistakes, grow from my successes, and use them to become the best version of myself. So, when success comes knocking at your door, don’t be afraid to answer. Embrace it, enjoy it, and use it to reach new heights. The sky’s the limit, and you have the power to move beyond your trading goals and far more!
